Swire Production Solutions
has worked closely with Dynamic Process Systems
(DPS) of Bristol in the UK to design a modular,
robust, marine process system which can be fitted
to either the Swire Modular FPSO or the Swire
A&EDS.
The modularised process system has a three phase,
three stage (three separator) separation and oil
stabilisation system which can be fitted to any
appropriate platform. The foot print is small
enough to fit on a standard UT755L hull in the
case of the A&EDS, whilst higher capacity
gas compression, condensate processing and water
injection facilities can be accommodated on a
larger platform such as the Swire Modular FPSO.
Swire Production Solutions are able to further
refine or customise the production system to meet
a wide range of customer requirements. However,
as currently configured the system has been designed
to meet the following specifications:
Well fluids flow up from up to four wells, via
separate risers. The wells may utilise dry trees
on wellhead platforms or wet trees as defined
by the field layout. Flexible hoses are used to
transfer the fluids to the choke valves on the
vessel, where a break in pressure rating occurs
and the flow from the wells is regulated. The
system can be configured as three stage using
multiphase meters for well test or as two stage,
where the first two separators would be used singly
allowing one well to be diverted to one separator.
A separate choke manifold is also supplied to
allow gas separated in the process plant which
has been compressed to be returned to the well
and be used for gas lift.
On the A&EDS vessel the process package is
positioned directly on the ship deck at the stern
between frame 2 & 35 (a raised deck is not
required as there will be no storage on the vessel).
The overall foot print of the package is 22.5m
by 13m and may be supplied on more than one deck
level. Well fluids enter the process at the forward
end and exit for export at the aft end.
On the Swire Modular FPSO the process system
is sited, according to class rules, on a
mezzanine deck approximately 3m above the main
deck, so that the hazardous areas
do not conflict with other operations.
DPS have designed the process system to be modular
so that additional gas handling equipment, with
capacity up to 100mmscf/day, condensate processing
spread up to 10,000 barrels per day or water injection
equipment can be integrated if required. |
