London
Marine Consultants
SPS has a long history of working with London
Marine Consultants (LMC) on production projects
and LMC have become well known in the industry
for their work with conventional FPSO projects,
both spread moored and turret moored.
Our relationship with LMC started
with the Nang Nuan project in 1992 where LMC were
responsible for the mooring analysis. This was
very much a fit for purpose minimalist mooring
system which required an appropriate approach
to meet the stringent budget requirements of the
project whilst remaining safe and practical. We
continued to work with LMC through out the project
to fine tune the mooring system to enhance up
time. Since then we have worked with LMC on various
projects ranging from minimalist mooring systems
similar to Nang Nuan through spread moor systems
to weather vaning internal and external turret
mooring systems for Aframax FPSOs."
Dynamic
Process Systems
Dynamic Process Systems (DPS) have been our process
system designers of choice since 2004 when SPS
started on the Appraisal and Early Development
project.
DPS have accumulated considerable
experience in two main areas whilst building a
track record in floating production which is recognised
world wide. These main disciplines are motion
tolerant process systems and process chemicals
for the treatment of unwanted components in the
produced fluids. During this period, the DPS engineering
team have been intimately involved with, and in
many cases named inventors on, patented process
equipment covering a variety of treatment processes.
DPS have the in house capability to provide all
requirements for the delivery of process topsides
including FEED studies, detailed engineering,
supply of engineering documentation, procurement,
construction and installation of the completed
topsides package onboard a production unit." |
